ICE! is Nice.
For the second year in a row, I attended ICE! at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando. It is completely amazing. The whole experience is magical from the lighted tree path to the introduction of the show by Santa himself.
After Santa’s welcome and bundling up in ankle length parkas (perfect for the ice slides), you are sent in to a winter wonderland where everything is made from ice from bridges to houses to the creatures of the forest and a life size nativity scene.
It takes the sculpters about three months to complete the ICE! exhibit each year and the Gaylord Palms hosts many other holiday events from concerts to laser light shows that you can attend at no aditional cost. So, if you’re in the area anytime before the first week of January 09, you should definitely pencil this in!
