What in the Wordle
When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I work for a Social Media Marketing company that does blog advertising. That’s the short answer. The inevitable follow up question is, “What does that mean?”. At which point I have to ask them to sit down and find out how much time they have.
What we do is new and we’re really the first ones to do it, so you always have to tell the story from the beginning and it’s a lenghty process to get to the point where you can discuss the complexity of it. The blood and guts. You know, the fun stuff!
So, this afternoon on Twitter, I came across a link to a site called Wordle.net that has an IZEA wordle created. A wordle is basically a word cloud of the things you write about most often. You enter your RSS url and poof, a cloud!
In taking a look at the IZEA cloud, I think it’s a pretty good representation of what the company’s about and what it is that we do. Enjoy!
